Player 3’s latest feature update allows U.S.-based users to receive one-time donations and earn recurring monthly support from their community using flexible, creator-friendly membership tools and payouts.

Stripe

Player 3 uses Stripe for secure payouts and account management. Setup takes less than 5 minutes. Once connected, you’ll be able to manage your earnings and profile directly from your Stripe dashboard.

Going forward, only verified creators can post Bits. This helps us curate Player 3 for serious gaming professionals and ensures the platform stays high-quality and focused.

Memberships

You can now effortlessly create a membership for your fans, set your own custom monthly price and start earning recurring support. There’s just one tier for now to keep things simple.

Your subscribers will unlock access to your exclusive, behind-the-scenes Bits, and they can manage or cancel their membership anytime through their History tab.

Best part? Subscribers are always grandfathered into the price they joined at, even if you raise it later.

Donations

Donations let fans show quick support without commitment. Anyone can send a one-time tip to help you keep creating, developing, or sharing, no subscription needed, just genuine support.

Transparency on Platform Fees, Stripe Fees, & Payments

Player 3 takes a 5% fee on donations and 10% on monthly subscriptions to help support the platform. This does not include Stripe’s standard 2.9% + $0.30 processing fee per transaction.

All users are responsible for handling any location-based taxes, which can be managed directly through your connected Stripe account. This can be accessed through the Tax Documents button in the Earnings & Payout section of the Finances page.

Payouts are issued automatically through Stripe on the 15th of each month for your available earnings.

Monetization Support for Non-US Users

We're working hard on allowing users outside of the US to access these features through stripe as well. There were a few setbacks during our production push that has delayed this a little further. Additional steps will be required in our onboarding process and settings in order to make this happen. We'll keep you updated!
